A Universe to Come by Tulku

The Tibetan term Tulku refers to the emergence of an old soul into a new body, and aptly describes the approach of the band formed under the direction of world music pioneer Jim Wilson. Tulku brings together a shifting palette of performers to explore mystic musical traditions from around the world and incarnates them into a contemporary vessel for producing some amazingly radiant and hypnotic grooves, primal sounds, and warm, other-worldly spaces.

Tulku fuses the voices of Ayahuasca shamans, aboriginals, Indian puja chanters, Mayan, Persian , Egyptian, and even blistering flamenco influences into a thick, soulful brew that inspires a vision of a universe to come.
