Brew in a French press, mate gourd, coffee/espresso maker, or tea filter for 3-10 minutes. We suggest using one heaping teaspoon per cup of water. Adjust as necessary. NEVER BOIL MATE. First moisten the mate with cold water to protect the nutrients and flavor, then add hot water.

Brew mate and add ice. Mate also brews in cold water! Try adding lemon or mint. Guayaki Mate Latte: Brew a strong batch of mate, then add vanilla soy milk and honey. Bliss in a cup!
